What is Tesamorelin?

Tesamorelin is a 44-amino-acid peptide analogue of human GHRH, modified with a trans-3-hexenoic acid group at the N-terminus for extended stability. In research contexts it is studied for its agonism at the GHRH receptor in the anterior pituitary, downstream stimulation of endogenous GH and IGF-1 production, and its relevance to visceral adiposity and lipid metabolism research.
