What is Bacteriostatic water 10ml?
Sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a bacteriostatic preservative, allowing a reconstituted vial to be drawn from repeatedly over a period of weeks rather than a single use.
Supplied in a sealed 10ml multi-dose vial. Store at room temperature away from light.
Storage & handling
Before reconstitution
Store lyophilised at −20 °C, protected from light. Stable for 24 months or longer in the sealed vial.
After reconstitution
Store at 2–8 °C and use within 28 days. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles; aliquot where possible.
